honestly I think most people who done leave a comment and pick utada is because of kingdom hearts... I LOVE her music though some of her songs are kinda strange like "animato" her voice and sound in general is AWESOME, but I think Ayumi hamasaki is my favorite because she has so many great songs. and I can only understand SOME of it, but what I do understand I like. her lyrics are so well put. lets not forget megumi hayashibara. I really wished i could pick more than one... lol I would have picked all three mentioned here. I love them all. hehe

torn between YUI and Utada. i love YUI's songs now but Utada left an impression of her lovely songs on me back then~

Its a hard choice between Utada and Maaya. Though in the end I'd probably say Utada.
Overall however even though this particular lady isn't on the list I must say Origa beats
them all out as my favorite singer. Not only are her songs with Yoko Kanno extremely
phenomenal, but her solo albums like Diva, Aurora, and her Best Of are like nothing
I've heard before.

Nami Tamaki is also very good too.
